Safari Park or a Safari holiday – a million miles apart

You may have been to a Safari Park in the UK, where you drive around in your own car and see many wild animals but this is nothing like experiencing a real Safari holiday in South Africa. The two do not even compare and if you have been on a Safari holiday you will know why.

When going to a Safari Park in the UK, the animals are never like they are in the wild, regardless of how company has tried to re-create their habitat, is a totally different experience to seeing them running around in the wild. Animals will always behave differently in a place where they do not hunt for their food, have thousands of visitors peering through a cage or glass at them and too much human interaction. Although you may think that you will not be able to get as close to the animals on a Safari holidays as you would in a park, this is not the case and often even the opposite.
